I’ll be honest we have listed this one because I personally wanted to try a 986 boxster…. what can I say from my experience? Well, honestly, I really enjoy the feel and the way they drive. The 2.7 flat six provides 215bhp which in this car is the right amount to be really enjoyable on all types of road, the sound makes you want to be high in the revs and the powerband really makes you work for it. It feels light and nimble with just a great driver focused feel yet still keeping the comfort and ride quality you want for a car…. oh yeah, and I got a 30mpg average out of it! So yes, my experience for the boxster has been great, and now it’s your chance to win a way into this car!
Overall, a very stock car with the only mods being a slightly shorter shift, upgraded head unit, and the red seat belts bit it does come with the factory black ones. Finished in metallic black with black leather, it’s a really nice subtle looking Porsche that still turns heads. The 986 is now considered a classic in the porsche world, we won’t go that far, but we would class this as a modern classic that will only appreciate in value over the next few years.
