So late one night I was thinking about what to comps next and that got me thinking what was the most fun I’ve had in a car? Lots of memories came to mind, then reality hit that we can’t comps that! So then the days of climbing up rocks, wading through muddy puddles and getting forever stuck in mud came to mind and on those suitably named ‘pay and play days’ there was one car that would always skip through the mud and scamper up hills, and that car was a Suzuki Jimny! So why not buy some tickets for a chance to get covered in mud and make some great memories!
So the car is a 2001 Suzuki Jimny, it is a fairly nice spec off roader that can still be used on the road which is ideal if you don’t have the luxury of a trailer. Upgrades include the snorkel, 5 inch lift shared between the body and suspension, some poly bushes, anti roll bar removal, upgraded shock absorbers, larger steering dampener, insa turbo tyres and let’s not forget those fat metal bumpers to ram through bushes!
With recent head gasket and service, this little 4×4 is running strong, ready to prove that the plucky underdog is ready to step up into the big league!
I love this little thing, and we have been enjoying it! It’s one of those cars we will genuinely be sad to let go of, but what it has done is provide us with motivation to buy some more 4×4’s!
