The Panda has always been a much-loved city runabout, known for its low running costs, great fuel economy, super-light steering, and how incredibly easy it is to drive. But let’s be honest — all of that meant it was seriously lacking in charisma. Enter FIAT, once again, with one of their delightfully odd special editions that nobody really asked for… but everyone is very glad they made.
As you’ve probably guessed, the Panda 100HP packs 99 BHP from its tiny 1.4 16v engine, which means 0–60 comes up in around 9.5 seconds. Okay, that might not sound amazing on paper, but FIAT didn’t stop there. It also got larger and wider wheels, bigger brakes with discs all round, a 6-speed gearbox, lowered suspension with stiffer springs and shocks, and even a little Sport button that sharpens up the throttle response and power steering.
Add in the full factory body kit and the optional Pandamonium pack, and suddenly the Panda has the character it was always missing. These cars are an absolute blast on country lanes and surprisingly capable when darting through chaotic city streets.
